The number of  cybercrimes and cyber attacks in Iraq are growing over the last 10 years and the information taken from the Iraqi Department of Cybercrimes for the years 2006-2011 describes cybercrime types and their properties. The results illustrate that among all types of cybercrimes committed during the past six years, the top four were distributed over the Internet such as Internet cheating, theft, cyber piracy and crime sex. The results illustrate that 81.1% were commited by males; 45.5% by high school students; 63.1% were commited alone; and 23.7% were committed by presently registered scholars. For those registered scholars committing cybercrimes, the results show that the proportion of high school students counted for 69.0% in 2009, 76.1% in 2010 and 62.7% in 2011. The high percentage illustrates that the numbers of presently enrolled scholars committing cybercrimes are a cause for worry. تاريخ:   11/12/11  -  16/12/11 الموعد النهائي للتقديم:   07/11/11 يمكن للصحفيين الذين يرغبون في تطوير مهاراتهم في مجال الوسائط المتعددة حضور ورشة عمل تدريبية مجانية لمدة خمسة أيام في بيركلي بولاية كاليفورنيا. تقدم ورشة العمل في إخبار القصص الرقمية، التي تقام برعاية  مركز نايت للوسائط الرقمية  وقسم  الدراسات العليا في كلية الإعلام في جامعة كاليفورنيا  في بيركلي، تدريباً مكثفاً يغطي جميع جوانب إنتاج أخبار الوسائط المتعددة، من تجميع المعلومات الأساسية إلى التدريب العملي إلى التعليم مع الأجهزة والبرمجيات لإنتاج قصص الوسائط المتعددة. ورشة العمل مفتوحة لصحفيي المطبوعات والإذاعة التلفزيون والإنترنت المحترفين الذين يرغبون في تطوير المهارات في مجال الوسائط المتعددة لدعم جهود النشر على الإنترنت في مؤسساتهم. الموعد النهائي لتقديم الطلبات هو 7 تشرين الأول/ نوفمبر، وسيتم عقد الدورة بين 11- 16 كانون الأول/ ديسمبر. سيحصل المشاركون على السكن والغذاء والتعليم، لكن دون تكاليف السفر. لمزيد من المعلومات، انقر  هنا . UNESCO offers five young journalists and bloggers the opportunity to participate in the 7th Youth Forum of the 36th UNESCO General Conference, taking place in Paris from 17 to 20 October 2011. Journalists and bloggers who are selected to attend the 7th UNESCO Youth Forum will be able to network with youth delegates from 193 countries, with key members of international organizations and with non-governmental organizations.
