How does it work? It’s easy.
Step 1) Just write “I declare…” on your hand and whatever you think the world needs to know related to peace and security OR what you’ll personally do to contribute.
Step 2) Take a picture with your declare sign.
Step 3) post it to Instagram, Twitter and Facebook using the hashtag #youth4peace and #IraqiAlumni

“I Declare”
The “I Declare” campaign is part of the Global Forum on Youth, Peace and Security that will be hosted on the 21st and 22nd of August 2015 by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The Forum is envisaged as a turning point towards a new international agenda on youth, peace and security. Stemming from the thematic debate organized by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan during its presidency of the Security Council in April 2015, it will build on on-going efforts by a multiplicity of actors to decisively step-up global attention to young people’s contribution to peace and chart a common agenda.
