يسعى المركز الدولي للصحفيين إلى تلقّي الترشيحات لجائزة الفارس الصحفية الدولية، لتكريم الصحفيين الذين كان لتغطيتهم الصحفية تأثير كبير على حياة الناس في بلدانهم.
يجب أن يكون المرشحون صحفيين ومحررين ومدراء إعلاميين ومواطنين صحفيين و مدونيين من/أو يعملون في إفريقيا وآسيا وأوروبا الوسطى/الشرقية وأمريكا اللاتينية أو الشرق الأوسط.
وسوف يتلقى كل فائز جائزة نقدية بمقدار $ 3000 دولار أمريكي ودِرع كريستالي. وسيُكرّم الفائزون بالجائزة في حفل توزيع جوائزالمركز الدولي للصحفيين في واشنطن العاصمة ، في 13 نوفمبر/تشرين ثاني 2011.

Every year, we honor outstanding colleagues with the Knight International Journalism Award. We’re now seeking candidates who maintain the highest professional standards to make a significant impact on the lives of people in their countries. Nominees can be reporters, editors, media managers, citizen journalists or bloggers. Pleasesend in your nominations by February 27, 2012.
The award reflects the mission of ICFJ’sKnight International Journalism Fellowships, supported by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. The Fellowships are designed to improve the quality and free flow of news in the public interest around the world.
